In Rockwall ISD we are committed to ensuring that our students graduate high school future-ready by providing post-secondary opportunities through College, Career, and Military readiness programs. College Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) is about preparing students for life after graduation. It is made up of curriculum, resources, programs and activities that help students have the tools they need to enter college or the workforce and begin a career. CCMR is integrated into the everyday culture of our district and is supported by state guidelines, partnerships with higher education organizations and businesses.

Students will reach CCMR status by one (1) of the following methods listed below:

  • Meet TSI score criteria via ACT, SAT, or TSIA
  • Earn a score of 3 or higher on at least one AP exam
  • Earn a score of 4 or higher on at least one IB exam
  • Complete Collin College or OnRamps dual credit courses (pass 1 English or Math DC course; or 3 classes total in any subject)
  • Complete College Prep Courses in both English AND Math
  • Complete a program of study in CTE (Career & Technology Education) AND earn an industry-based certification (IBC)
  • Enlist in one of the armed forces (TEA will require districts to upload required documentation)
