Purpose
From the RHS Student Council Constitution
Article I, Section 2: The purposes of this organization are:
§ To serve as a liaison between the students, the administration, and faculty.
§ To provide meaningful contributions toward the overall enhancement of school life.
§ To promote school and community loyalty and service.
§ To promote high ideals of honor, good citizenship, and leadership.
§ To provide a means for student participation in school government.
§ To provide a forum for student expression.
Section 3: All powers of the Student Council are delegated to it by the school administration. Therefore, the principal has the right to veto any act of the Student Council and the right to revoke any of the powers held by the council.
